A selection of themes composed between the 8th and 14th centuries that reflects medieval mysticism. It includes Gregorian repertoire, ancient Roman chant, Visigothic or Mozarabic chant, Ambrosian chant and pieces taken from codices such as the Hymnarium Oscense S. XI, the Llibre Vermell de Montserrat S XIV, manuscripts from the abbey of Ripoll and compositions of the visionary mystic Hildegarde Von Bingen.
